So, I am going to try and do some of this.

Wish me luck as I have never done this before. I have been reading up on it and have directions to get it done. I will post pics of my lovely canning jars when I am done.
Enjoy your day!

How did it go? I think the thought of it is scarier than actually doing it, although it is a bit of work, don't you think? But it'll be sooo worth it come winter when you have a taste of summer.
Sue,
Uggh, it didn't. It didn't go at all. I spent more time in the car in traffic today. Ended up giving three bags away to neighbors. I still have a gracious plenty here to can a few jars with. So hopefully tomorrow....or they won't be any good after that. They are so very ripe. If I can't can tomorrow, I may just make some homemade spaghetti sauce and freeze it.
Oh, and you are right. Judging by the process from the source I will be using, it does look like a lot of work, but it will be worth it come winter like you say.
Oh, I have so many tomatoes too! I have been eating them everyday!
